Yes, this is Family Day Weekend, and that means the library will be closed on Monday. If you are a regular user of our online services, you’ll still have access to everything from ebooks to magazines to movies, but if not, you’ll want to make sure you drop by the library before we close on Saturday. You can stock up your card with books, DVDs, magazines, puzzles, museum passes, and more! We’re open today from 9:30am – 5:30pm, and Saturday from 10am – 5pm. But after that, you’re on your own for a few days.
Feel free to drop off returns anytime this weekend to our blue return box. You won’t be charged fines for Sunday or Monday, so it’s a great time to get those books back to us!
We’ll be here bright and early on Tuesday morning, prepping new books, getting programs ready, organizing schedules and events, and much more, so feel free to call us to sign up for programs, or to place holds before we open at 1:30pm.
Have a happy long weekend, everyone!
If you’re thinking about the week ahead, we still have plenty of interesting programs happening at the library. Download this August calendar to see everything. You can sign up for any of the programs that require registration the week before the program
Yes, it’s the last long weekend of summer, and a lot of kids are getting ready to go back to school (or have already been back for a week and need a holiday)! We hope that your summer has been as active and fun as ours was, and that you’re ready to face fall with gusto!
Just a reminder, the library will be CLOSED on Monday, Sept. 5th, but you can still return items in our blue box whenever you like. We’ll be revamping the library by taking down summer decorations, putting up posters for our exciting roster of fall programming, and doing a general clean up. What will you be doing with this long weekend?
For all of our young readers, Sept. 6 – 10 will be the last week of reading programs, so make sure to drop by this week to get your stickers, penguins, and ballots. We’ll draw for some exciting summer prizes at the end of the week, and will notify winners by phone early next week.
Teens….this will also be your last Book Buck Spending week! Our window display will be filled with TONS of items to purchase with your book bucks, so make sure to come out and spend, spend, spend! Your book bucks won’t be any good after this, so don’t keep them. We’ll have something from $1 – $16, and our window will evolve as the week goes on. Come once, or come every day. It’s going to be a great week!
Have a safe and happy long weekend, everyone! See you on Tuesday, Sept. 6th!
Just a reminder that it’s the long weekend coming up. We’re open today and Saturday regular hours, but the library will be closed on Sunday and Monday. Drop in to renew items, get DVDs and more before it’s too late!
If you have items to return, feel free to put them in our blue return box outside the library anytime this weekend. We’ll get them on Tuesday.
And if you’re looking at the August schedule, you’ll know we have some fun programs coming up next week for the kids. Call to sign up today so that they don’t lose out! You can access the library catalog by clicking here, or on the photo above.
Have a great long weekend! Stay safe, everyone, and we’ll see you on Tuesday!
