If you followed us last year, you’ll know we had our first ever visit from our Elf on the Library Shelf, Cocoa! He’s scheduled to make it back here from the North Pole tomorrow, and let me tell you, there will be plenty for him to do. We plan on putting him to work right away!
You can follow Cocoa either by visiting the library to see if you can spot him, or by dropping by our library Facebook page each day.
Now, if only he’d bring us some snow….
We’ve had a lot of fun with our Elf on the Library Shelf these past few weeks. He’s shown up in quite a few weird places, taken off for the North Pole on the weekends, and managed to make our young patrons giggle more than once upon finding him in the library. If you’ve been following us on Facebook, you’ve seen the photos. If not, here are a few of our favourite moments from December.
I’m sure he’ll be back to watch over us next December if Santa approves him to come again. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how he works out at the North Pole in 2015. Happy Holidays, Cocoa!
Our wacky Elf on the Library Shelf, Cocoa, has been getting up to some real hijinks in the library over the last few days. If your little one drops in to get some books before Christmas, make sure you take a few minutes to spot him and collect a special Christmas prize for that day. But if you just can’t make it in, don’t worry. We’ve been posting his whereabouts each night on our library Facebook page. We just hope he’s been telling Santa good things about us.
Starting December 1st, our new friend Cocoa will be taking up his post as our Elf on the Library Shelf! He’ll be camping out in a new spot each day, so make sure you visit the library to see what he’s been up to each night. Don’t worry, if you can’t make it in, we’ll be sure to post a photo on our Facebook page to keep you in the loop. He’s promised to be good, but we’ve heard these busy friends can get up to some mischief.
Yes, we’re lucky enough to have an Elf on the Library Shelf this year! But he needs a name before he’ll begin his duties. Starting today, you can drop by the library to fill out your name idea. And then keep your eyes on our Facebook page for crazy fun in December!
