Eggs…not just for breakfast anymore.

Easter is fast approaching and we’ll be having another craft night for 7 – 10 year olds at the library.  I have spent the past few weeks searching for fun and unique crafts for us to make that evening.  During my search, I came across some wonderful art done entirely in eggshells. Crafters, don’t worry…..we won’t be attempting any of these on Easter Craft Night!

Egg Art Master Franc Grom sells egg artwork by creating approximately 2,500 to 3,500 holes in each egg shell. His intricate art is inspired by traditional Slovenian designs. Drilling holes in egg shells would require an incredible amount of steady hand and patience and the effort has definite paid off with these beautiful creations.  Thanks to The Rag & Bone Blog for this fun link!
