Magic Show!

Join us at the Carleton Place Town Hall Auditorium on Wednesday, July 24 at 10am for magic and fun with Eccentric Adam!  He’ll wow the audience with his mix of humour, magic tricks, juggling act, and maybe even a few puppets! We’re so excited to have him back!

Tickets are on sale now at the library for $3 each—children and adults, and will be available at the door on the day of the event for $4 each. This show is perfect for families, and aimed at children aged 4 and up.

Call us at the library if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!

Toddler Time

We’ll be starting a Toddler Time session again at the library, beginning Thursday, July 4th, and running through to August 8. It’s a fun 25 minute program starting at 9:30am each week, for children aged 1-2 years old. This pre-literacy program focuses on activities to get children thinking, playing, singing, and much more—all wrapped up in a safe library environment.

Registration is required, and this program will fill up quickly, so be sure to give us a call right away. We won’t have another toddler session until late in the fall, so this is a great opportunity to have your child participate in one of our programs!

Feel free to give us a call at 257-2702 for more information!

It’s here!

Our summer calendar has just gone out!  We’re excited to have so much going on—and still coming off our big win from last year’s TD Summer Reading Club!  It’s going to be a great summer!

Download our calendar here, or drop into the library to pick up a printed copy. We have special activities planned for each day, along with running our version of the TD Summer Reading Club, Teen Summer Reading, and Adult Summer Reading. There’s something for everyone!

Library Lemonade Stand!

We’re working hard to get ready for Friday, June 28th at the library….it’s our kick-off to Summer Reading!

Join us anytime from 1:30-3:30pm that day for a cold glass of lemonade…and some surprises! We’ll be handing out all of our summer reading kits, sharing information about the TD Summer Reading Club, putting out the Teen Book Buck Bingo cards, and registering adults for “I’d Rather BEE Reading”!

It’s free, and it’ll be a fun afternoon, so why not start summer with a bang. We’ll see you then!

Meet Katie!

We’re so pleased to welcome our Summer Programmer, Katie! She has been hard at work for almost two weeks now, planning and creating some amazing programs for July and August…and always with that smile on her face!

If you drop by the library, you might see her working on the front desk, or gathering supplies for an activity. Please say hello…she’s looking forward to meeting everyone!
