Working with the public means we are exposed to many colds and flus on a regular basis. And often, people who are sick will come to the library to get books to read while they’re at home recovering. This means, we need our flu shots!
If you haven’t had your flu shot yet, there is still time, and many available resources in our community in which to get one. If you don’t want to visit your family physician, drop by your local pharmacy and arrange a quick appointment. Some will even see you on a drop-in basis.
But if you’re still hoping for one more try at getting a flu shot, there is one last flu-shot clinic here in Carleton Place today, Wednesday, December 9th at Beckwith Public School from 5-7pm.
