The Scotiabank Giller Prize Shortlist announced!


Early last week, the Scotiabank Giller Prize Short List was announced, and there are some great choices! The authors will have a variety of public events over the course of the next month, and the final winner will be announced on  CBC at 9pm on November 10th. Who will you pick as the winner?



THE BETRAYERS by David Bezmozgis is about a disgraced Israeli politician.


TELL by Frances Itani takes place at the end of the Great War.


US CONDUCTORS by Sean Michaels is a mix of love, electricity and the jazz age.


THE GIRL WHO WAS SATURDAY NIGHT by Heather O’Neill is the tale of two special twins and their charmed life.


ALL MY PUNY SORROWS by Mirian Toews , a story about two very different sisters.


THE EVER AFTER OF ASHWIN RAO by Padma Viswanathan is set in the time after the 1985 Air India bombings.
