Make a Paper City!

I’m in the middle of planning a few different craft nights, so I’m always on the lookout for fun paper craft sites to provide a little inspiration.  I came across this fun little creative zone by a man named Joel Henriques, a creative designer and artist, who encourages people on Made by Joel to try creative things.  He believes anyone can be creative, all they need is a little inspiration. So he draws and uploads quirky designs that you can print off at home (some in colour but most in black and white) to use with the kids or just for your own endeavors.

He’s been on Martha Stewart, so you might think the ideas would be tricky, but his are generally quite simple.  He has an entire Paper City, including vehicles, helicopters and people and even a road trip to get your paper people out to the country once in a while.  The drawings are fun and endearing and your kids will enjoy colouring them up to make their own unique representations. Don’t forget to take a look at the rest of his site for more fun ideas.  And I bet you’ll have your cardstock out and into the printer before you’re even finished looking at all the great downloads!
