If It’s Cold Outside, Come to the Library!

As the weather starts to turn, there’s always a warm spot for you at the library. We’re all finished with our renovations and while you may not notice a big difference, we’re glad to have some new carpet, a few coats of fresh paint and a big overhaul to our computer system. Last week, we also managed to do a lot of cleaning, straightening and shelf reading and now our collection is in tip top form (at least for a few days). The doors open in a few minutes, and we’re excited to get back at it!

If you’re online, you’ll notice the changes to our catalog.  The new web address is http://olc.canlib.ca although you’ll probably be re-directed through the old address, so no worries. Just choose Carleton Place Public Library and go on with your search. Your library card number and PIN remain the same.  And if you were worried about overdues during our break, just mention it when you come in and we’ll sort everything out.  We understand this was a BIG change for a lot of people.

Welcome back everyone! Drop in and say hello!
