Busy weekend in Carleton Place.

It was a busy weekend in Carleton Place, and our friend the Gnomebrarian (a library gnome, of course), was busy participating in many of the events. There were the yummy treats at the Farmer’s Market which didn’t even make it home, a nice walk through the fascinating displays at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum, once around the Labyrinth and then on to the Lambs Down Park Festival. So far, he’s liking Carleton Place very much!  And this week, we’re off to visit the kids at Caldwell Street School and St. Mary’s School.

Three lovely ladies from the Carleton Place in Bloom display at the Lambs Down Park Festival. (He was THRILLED to meet the Mayor!)

He makes friends everywhere!

If you see us around town, stop and say hello!  (And in a week, he’ll have a name, too!)  We’ll keep you up to date here and on Facebook. Or stop by his Twitter feed to see what he’s up to.
