Book People Unite is a new movement in the US to help get people excited about providing books to underprivileged kids. We all know how important it is to the literacy rates to get kids reading early on. The more they read when growing up, the better. But of course, some kids don’t even have the opportunity to read. In many communities, libraries require a membership fee that some families cannot afford, so kids go without books unless they can find another source. Book People Unite is a project brought about by Reading is Fundamental, a non-profit organization in the US that gets free books to kids that need them. And the following video was developed to celebrate and encourage people to join. Book People Unite!
