We are well into the Forest of Reading Program 2009 at the Carleton Place Public Library and almost every school in our area is participating this year. After visiting many of the schools and talking to the children, many are now signed up to do one of the various levels from Silver Birch Express to Silver Birch to Red Maple. And we are excited to have so many fast readers this year! Did you know that we already have one reader who has finished all ten books in her Red Maple Fiction category? She is now moving on to Non-Fiction and we are really pleased!
