Need some election relaxation?

Although voting is only a few days away in the United States, I think a lot of people have been worked up into such a frenzy that they are worn out!  I know as a Canadian, I am getting just a bit tired of hearing all about it and I’ll be glad when it’s over.  I’m excited to see what the outcome will be, just like everyone else, but maybe everyone just needs to have a bit of fun with this, too.  That’s where this website comes in!

How about making some fun finger puppets!  This site has wonderful, free templates that you can print off on your home printer, and it even has great how-to videos to help you with the assembly.  I especially love “folding Obama”. (They even have t-shirts!)

I use finger puppets on occasion in my storytime meetings, but usually, they are cute little characters that fit one of my stories.  We have a few good craft books that have finger puppet templates if you are interested in making something for your little ones while you use your own presidential puppets. Why should you have all the fun?
