This is our first blog post from The Carleton Place Public Library. We are already part way through October and so much is going on to keep us busy!
Even though our summer book sale is over, we still have a HUGE assortment of books on our sale table at great bargains! Come in and see if you can find something good to take home. We are always adding more books to the sale, so check each time you come to the library….you never know what you might find!
Kids…..we are looking forward to starting the Silver Birch reading program again soon, and this year, we’ll be adding a new group called Red Maple for the older readers. We’ll make sure to give you all the information you’ll need to join our program and vote for your favourite books. Keep checking the blog for more details!
Have you noticed our “Recommended By Kids….For Kids” wall at the library? Many of you have already recommended a great book and we hope that more of you will join in the fun. You might find a new author to enjoy or maybe just a fun book to read over the weekend! Here are a few choices so far:
